Our Commitment to Inclusive Excellence
PI Tarpeh believes that all students, regardless of background, should have the resources, guidance, and support to excel in engineering and research. He is committed to sustaining a diverse and inclusive group where all members feels seen, heard, and believed in. The group engages in outreach activities and group member input is solicited in how the group runs. Learn more about the programs we participate in as a lab in the list of ongoing and past efforts below. The group also shares regular updates on current and historical events related to inclusive excellence, as well as ways to continually improve how our group operationalizes these principles. Examples are provided in the slide deck below.
